Wale Drops new Single “Reminisce” off of his upcoming album S.H.I.N.E.

The ever great “world play Le” as he would put it, gets back to the hip hop roots with a new single titled “Reminisce”. Wale uses a classic sample of the saxophone in Pete Rock and CL Smooth’s T.R.O.Y to bring fans yet another hit.

The track gives you the early 90’s summer time feel. That feeling of sitting on your stoop with a quarter water and your boom box listening for the newest song to blare through and start your groove, yea that feeling. You almost get lost in the feeling of what Hip Hop used to feel like. Wale’s unique way of taking words and making them feel like poetry shines through on “Reminisce”. Fellow DC artist Phil Ade who sings the hook with grace accompanies the rappers DC flow to make for one heck of a classic.

Following his previous singles “Her Wave” and “My PYT”, the three singles are expected to be on his newest project titled S.H.I.N.E. (Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy). Wale is sure to bring his authentic style and energy to this album. Wale is also expected to drop body of work soon after as well as produce MMG’s Self Made 4, growing his presence in this music industry.
